White Hill Eroded all terrain vehicle track on a landscape subject to greater natural erosion. A deep layer of peat has been lost from here, with just a few remnant hags left.

Track to Upper Balgray Farm track with the moors of Cat Law beyond. As the weekend passed, I became aware as to how many of these annoying and illegal signs still litter Perthshire and Angus.

White Hill The southwestern slopes. The all terrain vehicle track is innocuously green here, but further up the hill the vehicles have caused some very bad erosion.

Burn of Heughs A substantial burn, which caused problems with crossings runs down from the upper slopes of White Hill.

Ditch, Glen Clova On the floor of this classic U shaped glacial glen. A drainage ditch alongside the appallingly sited sitka plantation on the valley floor. Planted about 1980.

Gala Policies Now a community woodland, these woods above Galashiels are now owned by the Scottish Borders Council.
