Quarry at Drodland This seems to be in use, probably for road-building material, and is topped by a layer of red till. It is right beside a ford across the Burn of Aultmore, seen in the foreground.
Pond It isn't altogether clear why this pond has been created here. There is no evidence of fishing or shooting, so perhaps it is simply for wildlife.

Balnabreich on the left!!
The View from Balnabreich
The View from Balnabreich Looking down from the slightly elevated farm of Balnabreich towards Mulben. The skyline at left of the Hill of Muldearie, and Meikle Balloch is further away.
Auchlunkart Home Farm A substantial mixed farm with a large number of outbuildings.
Cleared Forest The stump and shrub in the foreground are on ground shown on the map as forested. The house at the edge of the trees on the far side of the snow-covered field is Hollybank.
The Ben Aigan mountain Bike Facility.
Clear Felled Forest Perhaps not quite clear felled, as several tall stumps have been left, presumably for wildlife. In the background are the Braes of Auchlunkart.
Crowrie Stripe Stripe often means a burn or stream, as here.
Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris) Also known as Kingcups.
Ardoch Another arable farm. Presumably the field in the foreground has been sown too recently for the crop to have sprouted yet.
Ardoch The hill on the skyline is Ben Aigen.
