A beautiful Palladian house it was much admired in its day and was the home of Frederick, Prince of Wales and his Consort Princess Augusta. There is a white outline in the grass, similar to on a sports pitch, marking out the position of The White House.

The Kew orangery is behind. The flower beds are a display area, full of marigolds and similar low yellow, orange and red flowers in the photo.
